Can samples be combined in a single batch?

You can combine samples for microwave digestion as long as they are similar in composition and use the same acid and acid amount in each vessel.   For example CEM has digested a wide variety of food materials in a single batch including samples that are high in fats and sugars.    Recently, we did the same with a variety of vitamin samples following USP method 233.  All samples were precisely controlled using the new iWave in situ, contactless temperature measurement system.
