MARS 6 Synthesis

Availability: In stock

Customizable multimode microwave system used for parallel and scale up syntheses

The MARS 6 Synthesis multimode reactor is configured to perform a broad range of syntheses using CEM designed vessels for pressurized reactions and standard lab glassware for atmospheric reactions. Fully customizable, the MARS 6 Synthesis can also be utilized for acid digestion and/or extraction with certain vessel sets and option. The system features fiber optic temperature control and reagent stirring.

Key Features:

  • Dual magnetrons provide up to 1800W of power for heating high throughput vessel sets and difficult samples
  • The magnetrons are protected from reflected energy, ensuring constant power output.
  • ReactiGuard™ safety sensor for continuous cavity monitoring of vessel events
  • Robust and corrosion-resistant
  • Easy to use touch screen control
  • Built-in video library provides vessel set and system operation training
  • Communication ports for optional external control

Available Options:

  • On-board Thermal Printer
  • IR Temperature Control
  • Pressure Control

Maximum temperature varies between vessel sets. Fiber optic probe (NIST-traceable available) and IR sensors are available options.

SAFETY FEATURES Three independent door safety interlocks, including an interlock monitoring system plus three independent thermal switches, are used in each instrument to prevent instrument operation and microwave emissions in case of improper door closure or misalignment. The instrument complies with HHS standards under 21 CFR, Part 1030.10, Subparts (C)(1), (C)(2) and (C)(3). Reactiguard continuously monitors the cavity and disables the magnetron if disturbances occur inside the cavity.
