What acids can I use for acid digestion?
Nitric acid (HNO3), Hydrochloric acid (HCl), Hydrofluoric acid (HF), Sulfuric acid (H2SO4), Phosphoric acid (H3PO4), Water (H2O), Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2), and any combination of the above can be used to break down the sample matrix and dissolve metals into solution. Care must be taken when using high boiling point acids such as Sulfuric and Phosphoric, and please contact CEM before use. analytical.support@cem.com
